The journal is established by the Institute of Industrial Ecology of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Aim and Scope
The journal publishes original scientific articles, reviews, short communications and other materials on the results of interdisciplinary basic and applied scientific research in the field of environmental problems associated with the interaction between man, nature and technology. The relevance of the journal’s scientific agenda is determined by the importance of a systemic addressing of the problems of human safety and environmental protection at the current stage of technological development.

Peer Review
Peer review is defined as the process of obtaining advice on individual manuscripts from experts in the relevant field who are not part of the journal’s editorial staff. Frequency of publication – 4 times a year
Statement on Electronic Backup and Preservation of Access
All main articles will be securely archived and preserved through partnerships with Russian recognized digital repository elibrary.ru. This will guarantee that researchers and the public can access our articles even after the journal is no longer actively published.
Open access
The electronic version of the journal will be publicly available on the website. Additionally, we would like to emphasize that no author fees are charged for submitting or publishing manuscripts in our journal.
